Dan Kerr joined One Place Capital in 2010 as Business Development Manager. He brings a wealth of knowledge with him based on 17 years in the equipment financing industry.
For the last ten years, Dan has been creating and managing vendor programs in the healthcare market space. He has worked closely with sales personnel and management from a variety of different equipment manufactures and distributors. Throughout his career, he's been involved in business development, sales and marketing.
Dan started his equipment finance career in 1993 with Dillon Leasing Company based out of Des Moines, Iowa. He eventually bought the company from the original owner and continued its long history of success. In 2000, he sold the company to Professional Capital Group, which was later acquired by Professional Solutions Financial Services. Dan's sales experience was instrumental in Professional Capital's success. His success with the company led him to the position, Assistant V.P. of Sales, with responsibilities managing several major accounts.
Prior to One Place Capital, Dan spent two years as a Business Development Manager for TCF Equipment Finance located in Minneapolis.
Dan and Scott Stewart, President of One Place Capital, worked together for seven years and are excited to be teaming up together once again. Dan is energized by the opportunity to be on the ground level of One Place Capital, an innovative and growing company. He's committed to providing vendors and consumers open, honest and fair financing transactions plus a level of service that goes beyond expectation.
Dan holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls.
