Scott Stewart is the president of One Place Capital. With more than 19 years in sales, marketing, business start-ups and leadership experience in the financial services and real estate industries, Scott understands the ins and outs of what it takes to make a business successful - from experience.
Scott began his career with GE Capital Fleet Services in sales and product/service development. His successful performance led him to GE Capital where he held several high profile positions including Vice President, General Manager, and Director of Sales. Various GE leasing divisions profited from his business and entrepreneurial skills: building terms, structuring and negotiating transactions, implementing captive finance programs, and managing annual volumes exceeding $150M.
His entrepreneurial spirit prompted him to start up his own successful small ticket finance company which he sold. The sale allowed him to focus on his interest in commercial and multi-family real estate development projects.
Back at the helm of equipment financing company once again, Scott is passionate about One Place Capital and its commitment to providing vendors and consumers the service they expect and financing transactions that are open, honest and fair to all parties.
Scott holds a B.A. in Finance from the University of Iowa and M.B.A. in Entrepreneurship from DePaul University.
